I'm Coach Claire, as a D1 coach for 17 years, I worked with hundreds of coxswains and built them into championship winning athletes. Over those years, I noticed something remarkable: the difference between a coxswain who transforms their boat and one who holds it back often comes down to a few key skills and mindsets—skills that most coxswains never get the chance to learn. I watched incredibly talented crews struggle because they didn't have a coxswain equipped with the right tools.
